As a parent, you realize when you have family, good friends (framily), a good babysitter, teacher, Nanny or AuPair that is in your child's or children's life and love your children like they are their own. That this is special.

This is amazing. You know, when you can't be there, your children are loved and cared for. That they are happy and healthy. And you can have peace while you are away.

Mom guilt is horrible, but I feel like when your children love the person with them when you are gone, it makes it easier. Better.

And for that, you will always be thankful.

So, when Alexis reached out for a special session with her girls and their AuPair who has been with them, watched the girls grow, ran from a hurricane and just gave her peace of mind. I was of course, all for it.

We treated it like a Lifestyle Mini session. Focusing on the play, laughter and love. The rain stopped for a brief moment, and the session turned into one of my favorite Lifestyle sessions to date.

So, as Mother's Day approaches, and we honor all the amazing moms, we should give a nod of thanks to all those who help us be amazing moms. And love our kiddos with all their hearts.
