Can you include you dog in your Newborn Photos?

It's no secret I love in home newborn photos.


Being able to capture a family, welcoming their newborn baby in their home. The older siblings are more relaxed and able to come and go or get snacks as needed.


And of course, families are able to include their fur babies.


I LOVE dogs. Seeing as I have two large dogs of my own, I enjoy seeing getting to pet and love on all dogs everywhere.


So, whenever clients ask if they can include their dogs in their photoshoot the answer is always, YES (as long as the location allows).


This sweet family brought their sweet basset hound to the maternity session and I loved him then. So seeing him again at the newborn session AND meeting their chunky hunk of a newborn baby boy checked all the boxes for a perfect newborn photography session.
