As a local Jacksonville maternity photographer, I’ve photographed sessions all over Northeast Florida, but there’s something extra special about those quiet early mornings maternity sessions surrounded by weathered driftwood, salty breezes, and that first golden kiss of sunshine.

Golden hour gets all the hype, but have you seen sunrise lately? The light is soft, dreamy, and glows just right on your baby bump. There’s a peace to sunrise that you don’t get any other time of day. Everything feels calm, fresh, and new—kind of like the chapter you’re about to begin.

Bonus: cooler temps and less humidity make it extra comfortable, especially if you're further along in your pregnancy!


🪵 Driftwood Beach = Natural Art

The driftwood on these beaches? Unreal. It looks like nature’s sculpture garden—twisted branches, weathered trunks, and soft sand all around. It’s rustic, earthy, and totally one-of-a-kind. Your photos end up feeling both ethereal and grounded. Mother nature really shows off out there.
