Tucked away, but in a major local community there’s this little spot filled with all things family photographers love. It’s not a park you’d find on a list of top photo spots. There are no big landmarks or manicured flower beds. But that’s exactly what makes it special. Turning off the main road to a bumpy dirt road, parking in an area where you don't see much around, but then walking through some trees to a perfect spot for families to gather close.


The best part? It has things we all love. Driftwood? Yep. A calm water's edge to explore? Check. Tall grass and even an open marsh grass filled area. Bonus, there’s a quiet beauty, a peaceful stillness that makes the simplest moments feel extra special.


What I love most is how this place seems to bring out the best in families. Maybe it’s the way kids instinctively want to climb on the driftwood or how parents can’t help but pause and take it all in. There’s something about being surrounded by nature, away from the busyness of life, that makes everyone settle into their real selves. And that’s where the best photos happen.
